Surface of ground screw-hot dip galvanizing

Ground screws offer a cost-effective and convenient alternative for foundations in any building
project. We strictly follow the leading hot-dip galvanizing standards for these ground screws. The process we use guarantees a quality product.
Galvanized steal is necessary when it is used in an environment where corrosion is common and
is a more budget- friendly substitute for stainless steel. We protect our ground screws from corrosion by using material that has been hot-dip galvanized.
This galvanizing process works by coating iron or steel with a layer zinc. This is completed after the material is prepared by cleaning, pickling, which removes excess particles from the surface, and fluxing, which creates a protective layer on the metal. The material is then galvanized when it is dipped into a metal pool of molten zinc at a temperature of 840 °F (449 °C). Parts are evenly coated for complete coverage. You’ll be able to see the metal has been galvanized because of the crystallization pattern on the surface. This is often called a “spangle.” Finally, the material is critically inspected. Coating thickness and surface condition will be especially analyzed.
There are many advantages to using hot-dip galvanization. Because it is corrosion resistant, it is more durable and likely to last longer, even exceeding 70 years. It is also a cost-effective option when compared to other coating options.
